EA and DICE will finally show off the new Battlefield game next week as the game’s official announcement has been dated for 9 June 2021. It has been a long time coming. After countless leaks that have seen gameplay details exposed to the full trailer snipped together in gif form. We are going to finally see the game in the flesh for the first time.

EA has yet to announce an official Battlefield reveal time which is taking place next week. However, there is a countdown that is set to start at 10 am EDT / 16:00 SAT. The reveal will take place after that countdown but we don’t know how long that timer is set for.

While we seem to know mostly everything about this year’s Battlefield game, expect the reveal stream to host its fair share of surprises. It will also be nice to have confirmation for a change in regards to the game’s features and story. Instead of going off insiders and leaks. EA and DICE are banking on the game’s success this year. The publisher has stated multiple times that Battlefield is the franchise’s “biggest team ever” that is delivering a “jaw-dropping experience”.

The last time EA officially spoke about Battlefield was earlier this year where general manager Oskar Gabrielson said:

“We’re in daily playtesting mode right now: polishing, balancing, and making the best possible Battlefield game we can. I can tell you it is a bold step. It has everything we love about Battlefield — and takes all of it to the next level. Epic scale. All-out military warfare. Crazy, unexpected moments. Game-changing destruction. Massive battles, packed with more players and mayhem than ever before. All brought to life with the power of next-gen consoles and PCs.”

Stay tuned for the full reveal coverage as it happens on 9 June. We will share when and where to watch the reveal as soon as EA shares new details. Battlefield is expected to launch in late 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC.
