Bayonetta 3 Release Date Leaked October Nintendo Switch

Bayonetta 3 Release Date Potentially Leaked – Report

The release date for Bayonetta 3 has seemingly leaked and it looks like we’ll be playing it sooner rather than later. According to a renowned leaker, the anticipated action title from Platinum Games is coming to Nintendo Switch on 28 October 2022.

This is according to SyluxHunter2, a leaker who made the rounds on Reddit for accurately leaking some of the contents for the recent Nintendo Direct event as well as previous announcements like Mario Kart 8 DLC and Advanced Wars being delayed. They claim that Bayonetta 3 is scheduled to release on 28 October this year as one of Nintendo’s biggest releases for the second half of 2022.

As with all rumours, take this with a pinch of salt until we get official confirmation from Nintendo or Platinum Games. Given that the first gameplay was showcased in September 2021 after almost four years of silence is a good indication that it’s on track to release sometime soon, though we can’t be certain it will be for 2022.

As it stands, October is packed with video game releases. If Bayonetta 3 releases in that month, it will launch alongside games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Scorn, Persona 5 Royal on Xbox and PC, Gotham Knights, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Overwatch 2, High on Life and more.

Bayonetta 3 was first unveiled at The Game Awards all the way back in 2017 with a short but sweet teaser trailer. To give you an estimate of how long ago that was, Reggie Fils-Aime was still the president of Nintendo of America when he personally announced it on stage.

Platinum Games went radio silent after its reveal and doubled down on the game’s development, which seems to have ramped up in the last year. Hopefully this means that the leaked release date of October is accurate, but we’ll only know for certain when an official announcement is made.
