Ubisoft has officially announced Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition following a leak by the ESRB back in September. While it has been confirmed to launch in 2024, the platforms haven’t been announced yet.
Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition promises to deliver 4K resolution and 60FPS along with enhanced visuals, audio improvements and better controls. Auto-save and cross-save features will also be included in the remastered release. Beyond Good and Evil originally launched to critical acclaim in 2003. A sequel has been in development for several years now with little to no updates.

Earlier this year, Beyond Good and Evil 2 developer Ubisoft Montpellier was investigated for alleged labour violations. We’ve had no updates on the case since then and even less on the status of the sequel, which was reportedly still in early development as of December 2022.
