After the release Dragon Age: Inquisition, which is one of the greatest RPGs of this generation, we have not seen or heard much of the series. Dragon Age: Inquisition released back in 2014 but that could all be changing soon.

Bioware’s Casey Hudson says the company is preparing to say more about the series sometime in December.

“If you’ve been following these blogs, or myself and Mark Darrah on Twitter, you know we’re also working on some secret Dragon Age stuff,” Hudson said on the BioWare blog. “Dragon Age is an incredibly important franchise in our studio, and we’re excited to continue its legacy. Look for more on this in the coming month (though I won’t tell you where to look…)”

The “coming month” is no doubt December which means the reveal could take place next week at The Game Awards. According to reports, 10 new games will be revealed at the show. We already know Obsidian’s new RPG is making its debut so I guess we can add Dragon Age 4 onto the list too. Dragon Age Inquisition actually walked away with the biggest award back in 2014 as it won Game of the Year so it would be fitting that Bioware reveals the next instalment at the event.

We know a new Dragon Age is in development as it was teased a few months back after concerns of EA’s push for live content got everyone worried that EA would kill the series. If the next instalment is anything like Dragon Age: Inquisition then we are in for something great. We have all the Game Awards news for you as it happens next week Friday.
