The Dragon Age series has been dormant since 2014 and we finally got a glimpse and an official reveal of the future of the series. While the Dragon Age 4 teaser trailer was very, very short, the fact that it was revealed is still a big deal. We also know that we will not see the game until at least 2021 so it makes sense that all we got was a tiny glimpse at the game.

The trailer showcases a statue that forms into a stunning artwork on the floor. We then hear Solas saying “So, you found me at last. I suspect you have questions”. The trailer then ends with a hashtag #TheDreadWolfRises.

For those of you not familiar with the Dread Wolf, it is the Elven God of betrayal. According to Elven lore, the Dread Wolf is called upon for aid and advice but other races believe that the god is evil. If the mural on the floor in the trailer is anything to go by, then the Dread Wolf could be the centre point for the upcoming game as a dark creature can be seen in the picture and it does not look friendly at all.

Bioware updated their blog with a short note:

While we won’t be sharing any details for now, I can tell you we have been building a new team around a core of Dragon Age veterans, people I’ve worked with on Dragon Age, Jade Empire, and some of whom I’ve worked with since the Baldur’s Gate days.

It will most likely be a long time before we get to see the new Dragon Age in action but at least we know it is coming.

GLITCHED was created by taking everything we love and putting into one place. It contains a little something for everyone be it your favourite comic book, what to binge on Netflix this weekend, or your annual first-person shooter. The idea that one can love all the cool things is not hard to comprehend, you just need to find a place for it. That place is GLITCHED..
