Blizzard Shadow Drops Warcraft I and II Remastered in New Battle Chest

The Warcraft Remastered Battle Chest is now available. Blizzard shadow dropped the game package which now includes previously unreleased remasters of Warcraft I and Warcraft II. It also contains the Warcraft III Reforged update 2.0 update that comes with some major new features and upgrades.

Keep in mind that Warcraft III Reforged isn’t a new game. It was the remake that was released back in 2020. However, both the Warcraft I Remaster and Warcraft II Remaster are new. Blizzard has remastered the game in a similar way to how Starcraft was polished back in 2017. The game has replaced the sprites and artwork with more detailed, high-resolution versions adding better visual fidelity to the game.

Blizzard is selling the Warcraft Battle Chest for $39,99. You can purchase the games individually too. They cost $9,99 for Warcraft I Remastered, $14,99 for Warcraft II Remastered and $29,99 for Warcraft III: Reforged.

Along with the Battle Chest news, Blizzard announced that in January 2025, Hearthstone will get a StaCraft crossover called Heroes of StarCraft. There’s also new content headed to World of Warcraft in the form of a new dungeon for the modern WoW game and a Mists of Pandaria dungeon in WoW Classic. Warcraft Rumble is also headed to PC in December with a beta kicking off on 10 December.
