While Blizzard has yet to reveal official replacement news for the convention, the company claims they are already in talks about how to handle the cancellation. In addition, they plan on channelling the BlizzCon spirit through a different avenue online.

BlizzCon 2020 marks one of the last expos of the year to suffer a cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Everything has been cancelled around the world including E3, Gamescom, TGS and more. However, expect some exciting gaming announcements coming out of the replacement online events in June. According to multiple sources, June is going to be a huge month for game reveals from Sony, Microsoft and more. These will all take place through online streams planned for the month ahead.
