Borderlands 3 Might Be Shown Off This Month

All the way back in 2017, developer Gearbox Software finally gave up on Battleborn to focus on Borderlands 3 and the studio’s head honcho, Randy Pitchford, said that most of the staff was working on the next Borderlands game. Keep in mind that things aren’t set in stone and no official announcement has been made. However, Gearbox did tease a “surprise” for their Pax East Panel, taking place on 28 March. Since 90% of the studio is working on the next Borderlands game, there is very little doubt that if the studio shows off something new, it would be Borderlands 3.

This is your opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at Gearbox Software and Gearbox Publishing, along with the latest news and updates from the makers of Borderlands, Battleborn, Brothers in Arms, and more! We will have never-before-seen reveals, exclusives, and surprises, so don’t miss out.

That last line about “never-before-seen reveals, exclusives, and surprises”. For those who don’t know, Pax East 2019 takes place in Boston from 28 to 31 March, so mark those calendars for hopefully some exciting Borderlands 3 news. Publisher Take-Two also mentioned years ago that 2K’s highly-anticipated title from a major franchise is on track for release before 31 March 2020. If this turns out to be Borderlands 3, they might want to start building a bit of hype or showcasing at least a bit of the game this March.
