Developer Gearbox Software created some of our favourite looter shooters out there with the Borderlands franchise, known for its awesome gameplay, loot and cel-shaded graphics style. Everyone and their cat knows just how good the Borderlands games were and even the Telltale adaptation called Tales from the Borderlands was quite good. Well, fans of the franchise won’t have to wait long as a Borderlands 3 reveal is all but confirmed for 28 March.
For those who don’t know, Pax East takes place from 28 to 31 March in Boston, US. Gearbox Software has a panel scheduled from 14:00 – 15:00 ET time, which is from 20:00 to 21:00 South African time. Mark those calendars and set those alarms, as a Borderlands 3 reveal is pretty much confirmed to happen.
With a not-so-discreet tease, Gearbox basically confirmed this in a Tweet, which you can view below.

That is probably the most obvious tease I have ever seen and I would eat Handsome Jack’s coat if a Borderlands 3 reveal or info drop doesn’t happen. Heck, the image even has an “exit 3” roadsign pointing towards a third entry in the franchise.
We will, of course, cover the Borderlands 3 reveal and bring you all the details as soon as we hear anything. Hopefully, developer Gearbox Software will blow everyone away with Borderlands 3. The game has been in pipeline for a long time and back in 2017, the developer gave up on Battleborn to focus on Borderlands 3, with most of the staff working on the next Borderlands game according to the studio’s head, Randy Pitchford.
What do you hope to see in the Borderlands 3 reveal and what should the next game in the franchise have, or make better, in your opinion? Let us know in the comment section below.
