If British telly is something you enjoy then BritBox is going to be the next streaming service you will sign up for. The streaming service is set to arrive in South Africa on 6 August and offer a range of classic shows, documentaries, comedies and more.
According to the official site, BritBox will offer users a 7-day once-off trial of the service. After which, it will then cost South Africans R99 per month. You can also sign up for a full 12-month package and get a 3-month discount while you’re at it.

BritBox in South Africa is brought to you by BBC and iTV which means the shows and content you enjoy from those providers will also be available on the platform. This includes the likes of Vera, Luther, Blackadder, Inspector Morse, Fawlty Towers, Absolutely Fabulous, Keeping up Appearances and more
BritBox will bring South Africans an unrivalled collection of great British TV, including the very best in British box sets, drama premieres and live events. Binge on complete seasons of your favourites or discover something new to watch from thousands of hours of brilliant British Dramas, Comedies, Documentaries, Lifestyle shows and more. The BritBox experience is also available across most TV platforms and apps. This includes LG WebOS, Android TV, iOS, Android and Samsung Tizen OS.
