Burger King has announced a collaboration with Call of Duty to bring exclusive immersive experiences and events across South Africa in celebration of the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Those who participate in the activities will receive rewards including Double XP, a BK Operator Skin and a chance to play a time-trial version of the game via a travelling station making its way to various Burger King restaurants in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
From now until 30 November 2022, you’ll be able to purchase Call of Duty-themed meals from Burger King restaurants that will score you a redeemable code for a free BK Operator Skin and one hour of Double XP. While only one hour of Double XP can be redeemed at a time, players can redeem up to 40 hours with each new meal purchased.

Additionally, a Burger King Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game station will be travelling across Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town from 7 November 2022. Those who purchase a Call of Duty meal from any of the Burger King restaurants where the game station is located will not only receive the BK Operator Skin and Double XP, but also get to play a time-trial version of the game at the station and get a ranking on a leader board, which will then be added to a draw that could net you prizes such as gaming headsets, monitors, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game, Burger Town T-shirts and meal vouchers.

The roadshow will eventually culminate in three exclusive Going-Dark events that will be hosted in N1 City Burger King in Cape Town from 24-26 November 2022. Here, fans will be treated to an immersive Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 experience brought to life. You’ll receive night-vision goggles and enter the “Going-Dark Tunnel” for a challenging Modern Warfare 2 experience. An NXTLevel zone will also be available at these events featuring surprises celebrity guest appearances, activities and more.
