Call of Duty 2020 Will Be a “Black Ops” Reboot and Feature Realistic Blackout Map

We know that Activision will be launching a new Call of Duty in 2020 as they recently confirmed the news a few months ago during an investor meeting. New reports claim that Call of Duty 2020 will be a reboot of the Black Ops series and take on a more realistic approach. Reports also claim that several well-known key characters will be returning.

According to TheGaming Revolution, Call of Duty will feature a handful of changes and additions. First off, the large-player maps from Modern Warfare will make a comeback this year. Much of the new gameplay features in Modern Warfare will also return in this year’s release. There will also be a Battle Royale mode that will feature a more realistic version of the Blackout map.

Lastly, the Call of Duty Black Ops game will include a zombie mode which was missing in last year’s Modern Warfare release.

Of course, while this all sounds exciting you should take it with a pinch of salt for now. It is around that time of year where Call of Duty rumours start to rise from the cracks in the walls and most of the time, they end up being true. However, things could change this year as the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles may see the series taking a new direction for the next-gen consoles.
