It is launch week for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and if you’re picking up the game or downloading it through Game Pass, here’s a full guide on when you can jump in.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is out on 25 October for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The game is launching with a dedicated single-player campaign, zombie mode and the award-winning multiplayer mode. It is also the first year you’ll be able to play a Call of Duty game through Xbox Game Pass without having to pay for anything but the subscription.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Launch Times
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch at different times across the globe this week. In South Africa, the PC versions of the game will be available from 06:00 SAST on 25 October. That is 6 am in the morning. The console versions, however, will launch at different times. Activision has yet to list these exact times but did say it would be between 13:00 and 23:00. Usually, our games go live at 16:00 – 18:00. So expect the same here.
All owners can then pre-load Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 starting today, 21 October at 18:00. That is 6 pm this evening. This gives you a few days to download the install the game ready for its launch this week.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 File Size
The exact file size for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is around 102GB at the moment. This is according to the official PC system requirements that list the recommended storage space. Keep in mind that the console versions may differ across each platform but free up to 100GB for the time being.

Speaking of the PC system requirements, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 can be run on the lowest settings with an NVIDIA GTX 960, AMD Radeon RX 470 or Intel Arc A580. If you want the best 4K experience, you’ll need an RTX 4070, AMD Radeon RX 6800XT or an RTX 3080.
All specifications require 102GB of free storage. RAM then changes from 8 GB to 16 GB. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 seems to require quite modest PC builds.
