Treyarch revealed the first artwork for the recently-announced Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. The artwork arrives shortly after the game’s first teaser dropped earlier this week. However, it took no one by surprise. Multiple reports and teasers leaked already shedding light on Activision’s new shooter way before the announcement. The first artwork hints that players may be able to experience both sides of the Cold War story in the upcoming game.

The artwork splits into two down the middle. On the one side, you can see the United States and on the other the Soviet Union. Along each side, there’s also posters and propaganda which were most likely used during the Cold War.

Activision plans on revealing Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War on 26 August 2020. However, it won’t be the traditional reveal we are used to. The announcement is set to take place inside Warzone map Verdansk. The game includes a single-player story mode along with multiplayer too. We don’t know if zombie will make a return this year but we hope so.
We also know that the current Warzone mode is being integrated into the game somehow. This means the popular battle royale could be just as popular in the new Call of Duty too. How this is going to work? What platforms is the game releasing on? Will it launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X later this year too? We don’t know yet but stay tuned for the full announcement on 26 August 2020.
