According to Activision, the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War file size on the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S consoles are hefty. Both next-gen versions of the game weigh 136GB with current-gen sitting at 93GB. PC comes in at 125GB for the full game and its extra graphics packs.

  • PS4: 95
  • PS5: 133
  • Xbox One: 93
  • Xbox Series X|S: 136
  • PC: 35GB (multiplayer) / 82GB full game / 125GB full gave and ultra graphics pack

Keep in mind that users are still able to delete parts of the game they don’t want. So if you complete the campaign you can delete in order to save some storage space. The same goes for the zombie mode and multiplayer if you decide to stick with the Warzone mode. Most COD players either sit between the multiplayer or the battle royale mode at the moment. We don’t know how much space this saves at this point but it is better than nothing.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War file size news comes after an unconfirmed PS5 box art claimed the game required over 238GB of storage space. However, we do believe that could still be the case. Remember, in December Activision plans on combining Warzone with Black Ops Cold War so it might just add that extra 100GB of size to the next-gen versions of the game. Let’s hope for the best.
