According to Venturebeat, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War runs at 4K 60FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X. There seems to an option for 120Hz. However, this frame rate will surely come with a reduced resolution. Perhaps the 4K mode sticks to 60fps and an HD or 1440p runs at 120fps. The game also includes haptic controller support for PS5. While there are no details on this yet, expect the vibration to bring you further into the experience. The same is said for the 3D AudioTech. This helps players figure out where the sound is coming from in a 3D environment.

Every scene in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is more detailed on the next-gen consoles. This allows for greater photorealism with the help of 4K, HDR and wide colour gamuts. In addition, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War features a global illumination system that makes use of real-time ray tracing on PS5 and Xbox Series X. This means the lighting and shadows are as light bounces around a room in a realistic manner.
