1v1 and 3v3 squads are coming to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gunfight Mode as Infinity Ward plans to extend the game mode’s offering beyond the standard 2v2 settings which is currently only available.

The announcement was made by Infinity Ward co-design director of multiplayer Joe Cecot that confirmed via Comicbook that the mode will be getting not only a 1v1 but also a 3v3 option. The only issue is that the modes have not been dated yet so don’t expect to fire up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare today and play them.
According to Joe, the modes will arrive at “some point” which could be anytime in the coming weeks or even perhaps in early 2020. There’s no guarantee that the additional modes have taken priority at Infinity Ward and they are working on them post-haste.
At some point, also 1v1!
