Activision is trying to get the latest Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 leaks taken down but it isn’t going well for the publisher. Last night, images of the game’s key art and logo popped up on Twitter confirming the game’s existence and also the protagonist Captain Price.
The images were spotted on some upcoming Monster Energy merchandise which is likely going out worldwide to promote the game and offer XP gains to consumers when purchasing participating products.

The logo looks very familiar. It boasts a Roman Numeral number 3 and looks like the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 logo but in red. The only difference is the corners are cut on the first and last I.
The protagonist, Captain Price is on the cover and fans claim that standing behind him is the villain Vladimir Makarov. You can just see his one eye peering over Price’s shoulder.

Since the leak went live, Activision has publically acknowledged it. The Call of Duty account tweeted “Whew. Mondays. Anyone have an energy drink they can spare?”.

Of course, this is referring to the leaked merchandise. There’s currently no other information to share on the leak. We have known this year’s Call of Duty game would be Modern Warfare 3. However, we don’t know when it will release as there’s no official release date yet.
Reports claim that the game is expected to launch on 10 November for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Activision is expected to announce the game in the coming weeks. We will also get the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 beta dates at the same time. It is reportedly kicking off in early October across PlayStation followed by Xbox and PC the following week.
