Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Adds 200-Player Warzone Mode

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone mode is now bigger than ever. The latest update which adds the new Season Four Reloaded content includes a 200-play Quads mode. This new player count means the map will have 49 other teams of four and 50 more players than usual. It is unclear how long this change will stay around for. However, expect the game mode to be a little more chaotic than usual.

Activision shared the news on the PlayStation Blog along with some notable changes to the game. Starting today, players can pick up the new Warzone Starter Pack which includes 500 COD Points, a Legendary Shotgun Blueprint, Epic Krueger Skin, Epic Calling Cards and Emblems and a 1-hour Double Battle Pass and Weapon XP.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare also brings some changes to Warzone in Season Four Reloaded including the Rytec AMR sniper rifle. Players can unlock the weapon through an in-game challenge or the blueprint variant through the store.

As for Modern Warfare, Activision released a new multiplayer map and mode. Cheshire Park is located in urban London, England and is a picturesque and peaceful garden. Well, until the players arrive that is. As for the Team Defender mode, this twist on the traditional Capture the Flag formula sees players hold the flag at the objective for as long as possible to earn points for their team. Drop the flag and the opposing team can pick it up and earn points if they are at the objective.

Of course, the new season comes with more patches and files which means you will need to free up space or delete old Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone content. Find out how you can make space here on your consoles here.
