It is an exciting time for Call of Duty fans, especially those who loved the Modern Warfare series. Later this week, on 1 August 2019, the full multiplayer reveal for the soft reboot, simply called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, will be unleashed but before that, developer Infinity Ward is throwing some very exciting details at us, including that killstreaks are coming back.

Infinity Ward has revealed that they are bringing back the Killstreaks feature with the upcoming game. The past few Call of Duty titles had a scorestreak system which, although decent, didn’t have that excitement a Killstreaks feature had in my opinion, where you are so nervous getting that last kill to unlock something. With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the Killstreaks feature has returned and Infinity Ward also revealed the first three killstreaks for the game.
These killstreaks sounds devastating. The first one is called Juggernaut and you might remember this one from the assault package in Ghosts and Modern Warfare 3. Players who unlock this killstreak will be a heavy-armoured force to be reckoned with, to say the least. Then, we also have the White Phosphorus killstreak, allowing you to lay waste to the battlefield and last but not least, we have the Infantry Assault Vehicle, which spawns a manned light infantry assault vehicle complete with a 50 calibre machine gun that you can mow your enemies down with.
