In order to enable the Call of Duty Warzone 120Hz support, you will need to make sure your PS5 display settings are supported and that your game preferences are set to 120Hz. This method is the same for Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War that also required users to enable the performance mode in the console itself. Here’s how to do that.
Call of Duty Warzone 120Hz PS5 – How to Enable
You can actually choose multiple ways to experience the Call of Duty Warzone 120Hz support. You can either set the game to 1080p with an HDMI 2.0 monitor and get up to 120Hz using it. Or if you have an HDMI 2.1 monitor or TV just use the 4K setting and it will render at the best 120Hz performance. You don’t need an HDMI 2.1 monitor or display to get more than 60FPS in Warzone.
- Go to settings – Screen and Video – Enable 120Hz – Set to Automatic
- Go to Settings – Saved Data and Game/App Settings – Game Presets – Select Performance Mode
Some users are reporting a bug where if HDR is enabled in the game, they cannot turn on the 120Hz support. If you are facing an issue where the game is locked at 60Hz even if you have a high-refresh display then disable HDR until this bug is fixed.
