Call of Duty: Warzone First Full Match Gameplay and PlayStation Plus Ads Revealed

It is just a matter of time before Activision officially announces the much-leaked Call of Duty: Warzone. The first gameplay from the upcoming free-to-play battle royale leaked last week showing the Training Yard and now someone uploaded the first public match for the game too (now removed). Along with it, the Call of Duty: Warzone PlayStation Plus ads (seen below) have been spotted online too which reveals another cool-looking artwork for the game.

The first Call of Duty: Warzone gameplay shows off the game’s map and some interesting tidbits about the creation of it. According to the YouTuber Chaos, the map was actually hand-crafted with every single location being detailed to the utmost detail. No procedural placement of objects was used at all to craft the giant battle royale map and from what we have seen, the spawling vistas are indeed quite impressive.

The game also features a range of vehicles including quad bikes, trucks, helicopters and more. As previously reported, when players die, you will be transported to the Gulag for a chance to respawn by winning a 1v1 gunfight against another player.

According to the video, the game is fast. Even though the map is massive, the gas which acts as the ring closers much faster than other battle royale games on the market so matches don’t feel like a long, drawn-out ordeal. Respawning is also easier as not only do players have a chance to come back from the Gulag but you can purchase a respawn token by gathering enough money in-game. According to Chaos, at least once a match one teammate died and other players had a chance to revive them by getting enough cash to buy them back.

According to reports, the game is free-to-play with no purchase of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare required at all. If you do own Modern Warfare, players will be able to transfer their skins across the Call of Duty: Warzone.

As soon as I was about to publish this article, Activision removed the video. According to previous leaks, Activision is set to announce the game on 10 March and release it on 11 March so it will be arriving sooner than expected.
