Players can earn a special Butcher item in Diablo 4 if they participate in the new Call of Duty Warzone Haunting event. The spooky limited-timed event is now live in the game and is around to celebrate Halloween.
The event includes other horror-themed characters including Spawn, Alucard, Lilith and Ash Williams. The content also includes Halloween-themed versions of multiplayer maps El Alsio and Embassy. There’s also a Warzone map Vondead and a night version of Al Mazrah.

But the big news here is that if you participate in the game event and complete certain objectives, you’ll then be able to earn The Butcher’s Meat Hook weapon in Diablo 4.
Players need to own both Call of Duty and Diablo 4 and have their Battle.net account linked to their Activision account. Players then need to drop into either Vondead or Al Mazrah in Call of Duty Warzone to find and activate the themed content.
While exploring the map, players need to activate and defend the Altars of Lilith found in the area. Once successful, a portal will open which leads to the Butcher’s Lair. Players then need to defeat him. Once done, the item will unlock on their accounts.
Activision says the item will take four days to appear on your account. The company also says players should link their accounts together before they attempt the event. In case things go wrong.
Keep in mind that The Butcher Meat Hook is a cosmetic item for the Necromancer class. It can be skinned onto scythe items. The event is available on all Call of Duty: Warzone platforms.
