Infinity Ward has addressed the major cheaters issue in Call of Duty: Warzone after increased pressure from players over the course of the past few weeks. Cheaters are everywhere with players even disabling cross-play so console owners don’t have to put up with them.

In a tweet, Infinity Ward announced that starting this week, players in Warzone and Modern Warfare who report suspected cheaters will now get confirmation when that said cheater is banned from the game. This will be enabled through the killcam and spectate modes where players will be able to see if the player that killed them is indeed cheating. Often, the killcam is the best way to see whether or not you have been killed by a cheater so this is a much-needed new addition.
Infinity Ward also revealed additional measures for Call of Duty: Warzone cheaters including security updates, increased resources across the game’s backend tech, studio enforcements team and most importantly, matchmaking to match cheaters against cheaters. There will also be an added

Yes, you read that right. Infinity Ward has updated its matchmaking to pit suspected Call of Duty: Warzone cheaters with other cheaters in a lobby on their own. This matchmaking will be a new measure in place to try and put a stop to the constant cheating in the game.
However, there is still concern around it. Some Reddit users are worried that salty players may report everyone that kills them in an attempt to get revenge on the player. They claim the new Warzone matchmaking can easily be exploited. The new systems are already in place so we will have to wait a while before we see the impact of the changes.
