Capcom will stream two presentations at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2022, the company recently confirmed. The first will be Capcom Online Program, a pre-recorded showcase featuring “all the latest Capcom news”, while the second will be special presentation dedicated entirely to Street Fighter 6.
Capcom Online Program will air on 15 September at 10am ET / 4pm SAST, though the studio stopped short of giving any more information about what we can expect. The Street Fighter 6 presentation will air a day later on 16 September at 11am ET / 5pm SAST and will likely unveil new details about the anticipated upcoming fighting game.

The first event is what most fans will pay attention to, though we can only speculate what will be shown or how long it actually is. Capcom has yet to offer gameplay deep dives for two announced titles, Resident Evil 4 Remake and Dragon’s Dogma 2. Hopefully we’ll see something from those titles at the event, especially considering the former launches early next year.
For the first time since 2019, Tokyo Game Show will return as a public event, running from 15-18 September. According to Capcom, fans will be able to play Street Fighter 6, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection and Exoprimal on the show floor.
Tokyo Game Show hosted digital events for the past two years, with last year’s show allowing selected journalists and visitors to attend a special behind-closed-doors section. As the gaming industry takes slow steps forward to normalise big events again, it’s good to see Tokyo Game Show back in the spotlight as it has historically always hosted a number of exciting game reveals and announcements from Japanese companies.
However, even if you aren’t in the venue located at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, the event will be broadcasted live around the world just like 2020’s showcase.
