Capcom Sending Out Invites to Test Unannounced Resident Evil Game

Capcom could have a new Resident Evil cooking in the steamer as a leaked invitation reveals a playtesting taking place for an unannounced game.

The invitation was sent out to a selected Resident Evil Ambassadors from Capcom Division 1. This specific division is responsible for the development of the series and the Devil May Cry series.

The invitation was only sent out to players in Japan and stated Capcom was looking for “game testers”. The playtest would be taking place on either 8 or 9 September and must be played by an Ambassador and a person who has at least played the series before.

The email does not state what this is for and no other details were revealed but whatever Capcom is working on would be highly confidential even during the testing phase in September.

Capcom hosted an Ambassador meeting in June where players supposedly got to see a glimpse at the current project but no leaks came out of it. Could this be a Resident Evil 3 Remake or perhaps a sequel to the 2016 release?

Only time will tell what Capcom is working on. What do you think it is? Let us know in the comments below.
