Cyberpunk 2077 Dildos CD Projekt RED

CDPR Will Fix The Overwhelming Number of Dildos in Cyberpunk 2077

If you have been playing Cyberpunk 2077 then you have most likely noticed all the dildos everywhere. CD Projekt RED says that the number of dildos in the game is not intentional and that the citizens of Night City aren’t some sex-mad bunch of maniacs. They appear due to an in-game algorithm that automatically places a set of items around an area.

According to CD Projekt RED, dildos in Cyberpunk 2077 are the same as playing cards, bottles and other items which get dismantled for crafting materials. Instead of the developers placing each item individually, these items are automatically placed around the world and respawn over a certain time frame. So the playing cards you see on the floor might be replaced with a bottle or a studded XXL dildo depending on how the algorithm runs for that scenario.

CD Projekt RED says that they are working on tweaking these settings. In addition, the developer says that the number of dildos in Cyberpunk 2077 during the first week and review week was pretty high and needs to be reduced.

Players can most likely expect to see a drop in the number of dildos found throughout the world soon. CD Projekt RED is expected to release another update for the game before Christmas so hopefully, that will be the one. However, the developer has a lot on its plate at the moment. Since launch, Cyberpunk 2077 has come under fire for its buggy gameplay and major performance issues across PS4 and Xbox One. While the game runs a lot better on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, gamers have suffered from crashes, game-breaking bugs and corrupted save data.

CD Projekt RED issued a statement earlier this week saying that gamers can request refunds for Cyberpunk 2077 but Sony rejected these. It then came to light that the developer does not have an agreement with Sony and Microsoft for these refunds.
