Forever Entertainment is remaking the classic arcade shooter House of the Dead. Anyone who played the game back in the day in the arcades using those plastic guns while flipping coins into the machine is most likely ecstatic right now. House of the Dead Remake is a direct, built from the ground up game based on the classic 1997 shooter.

The developers at Forever Entertainment says that the rail-shooter has received some new quality-of-life changes to enhance the gameplay to modern gaming standards. The game is currently in development for Nintendo Switch and will feature a “true to the original” gameplay approach, hordes of undead monsters to kill, multiple endings and of course, co-op.

At the moment, House of the Dead Remake is currently in development for Nintendo Switch but hopefully, if the game does well it will land on other platforms in the future. Forever Entertainment has not announced a set release date for the game yet either but they are aiming for a 2021 release.

The House of the Dead: Remake is a remade version of the game introduced in 1997 in arcade platform. A classic arcade rail-shooter receives a whole new entourage and gameplay changes to suit modern gaming standards.

  • Hordes of the undead monstrosities in a fast-paced rail-shooter.
  • True to the original gameplay.
  • Well know arcade classic with modern graphics and controls.
  • Multiple endings
