Deadzone: Rogue

Co-Op Sci-Fi Roguelite Shooter Deadzone: Rogue Now Out in Early Access

Deadzone: Rogue has launched into early access on PC. The game is a sci-fi roguelite shooter with a fast-paced approach. Players run across the ISS-X space ship with no memory of who they are and why the ship is swarming with rogue machines.

These machines look quite cool. Some of them are seemingly creature-like while others have taken on full robotic forms. Players survive the swarm by using weapons at their disposal which are looted from enemies they kill.

The weapons are also their own mechanic. Each weapon type comes with a unique fire mode and can randomly drop with perks. These weapons are also upgradable with mods and elemental effects that give players room to build firepower that suits their play style.

Given that it is a roguelite, players can upgrade their own abilities as they progress the ship and fight the waves of enemies. These upgrades span weapon enhancements and increasing elemental effects.

Deadzone: Rogue is also co-op with up to three players so you and two friends can mow down the hordes of enemies together. The game is now out in early access on Steam. It is currently 20% off until 13 May and I suggest checking it out if you’re craving a new shooter. It sells for R229,99 but can be purchased on sale for R183,99.
