Our motto at Clan Wars Esports NPC is to #PLAYitForward, a slightly different take on the ethos of “pay it forward” whereby as humans, we give back to others because we have had some kindness done for us in the past. As a gaming community, we have the potential to help others around us who need assistance by doing what we do best – playing games.
At Clan Wars Esports NPC (Non-Profit Company), our focus is on helping the greater community by running events to raise money for those in need. For this Christmas, we are once again running our annual Happy Gaming Charity event in aid of Abraham Kriel Bambanani Children’s Home, a non-profit organisation whose passion is to ensure the optimal development of traumatised children and youth in need of care. All proceeds from our campaign will go directly to the children’s home to ensure their needs are met for the coming school year – including uniforms, stationery, books, nutritional care and shelter for those children who need to be removed from at-risk households.
The main event is the Clan Wars Esports Happy Gaming 2v2 SND Double Elimination Knock-out event on Call of Duty: Vanguard, with an R200.00 entrance fee for teams to register and take part. Teams of 2 will battle it out in Search and Destroy to be the ultimate victor and walk away with an R1 250.00 voucher each from Nexus Hub for the winning pair and the runners up will win an R750.00 voucher each for their team. Games will be played on the CDL (Call of Duty League) ruleset with GAs (Gentlemen’s Agreements) in place. The tournament runs 17-19 December 2021 and the registration cut off is 1 pm on 17 December 2021.
For those who would like to donate more, or can’t take part in the event, there is also a raffle where you can pick up some really awesome prizes just in time for the holidays! Each raffle ticket costs R100.00 and you could walk away with some awesome prizes.

The raffle is open to everyone and you can purchase tickets up until 5 pm on 21 December 2021. The draw will take place live in the evening on 22 December on the Clan Wars Esports Youtube channel.
