John Barrowman, the actor best known for Doctor Who and Torchwood, has been confirmed as one of the international guests attending Comic Con Africa 2023, set to once again take place at the Johannesburg Expo Centre (Nasrec) later this month. Barrowman will attend this year’s festival for three days on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, which should be a great treat for Doctor Who fans.
John Barrowman, a well-respected figure in the entertainment industry, is known for his versatile acting career and charismatic stage presence. With a portfolio spanning television, theatre and film, Barrowman has captivated audiences worldwide with his memorable roles in iconic series such as Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who and Torchwood. Barrowman has also had a long-standing portrayal of Malcolm Merlyn from the Arrowverse TV shows (included titles like Arrow, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow).

Attendees at Comic Con Africa this year can look forward to the opportunity to meet John Barrowman in person, engage in panel discussions, autograph sessions and grab photograph opportunities with the actor.
