Roscoe Wayne Marquand was born on 22 August 1981 in Fort Collins, Colorado. He started acting at the young age of nine when he played a small part in a church play. Despite showing interest in acting from a very early age, Marquand would first enlist in the Boy Scouts of America and obtain the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest achievement or rank attained in the BSA.

During campfire ceremonies at the BSA, Marquand would lighten the mood and spirits of other Boy Scouts by impersonating celebrities. Turns out he was pretty good at it and it seemed in his nature to pursue acting as a career. He would go on to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder to gain a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in Theatre Performance. Around this time, he starred in several productions such as To Kill a Mockingbird, The Passion of Dracula and The Cherry Orchard.

After attending college, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in the movies and television. He first starred in a Romanian short film called Love Sick in 2006 and bounced between roles in other short films and brief television appearances for a few years until he landed his first big role in the 2013 crime thriller, Down and Dangerous, where he played crooked cop Henry Langlois.

In the same year, Marquand would portray legendary actor Paul Newman in an episode of AMC’s Mad Men. Fun fact, he also voiced Han Solo in a Phineas and Ferb crossover special with Star Wars. He would later voice Han Solo again in an episode of Robot Chicken as well as in the video game, Star Wars: Trials on Tatooine. You may also recognise him doing additional voice work in EA DICE’s Battlefield Hardline.
