The Command and Conquer series is getting exactly what fans have been begging for (not really) – another mobile game. Command & Conquer: Legions is an upcoming mobile game that is described as a “new approach to strategy gameplay” that “opens endless strategic possibilities” and includes “iconic heroes and villains, factions and a vast array of units”.
Command & Conquer: Legions is planned to launch later this year on iOS and Android. It will also undergo a closed beta test in limited regions. These regions include Australia, Canada, France, Mexico, New Zealand and the Philippines.

Command & Conquer: Legions is being developed by Level Infinite, the same team who is currently working on Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade. They are also working on Song of Nunu, an upcoming League of Legends spinoff game.
Previous mobile Command & Conquer games didn’t go too well for EA. The last game, Rivals released in 2018 and only ran for a year before ending support. EA is actually not doing so great in the mobile industry as a whole. The company shut down both Apex Legends and Battlefield Mobile development this year too.
Perhaps Command & Conquer: Legions will be the rare exception to the record here. There’s a short trailer to watch below. You can also find more screenshots on the official blog here.
