Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, the remade collection of the first three Crash Bandicoot games, could be heading to Xbox Game Pass soon, according to a new report. The same rumour also mentions that other Activision games such as Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will also be making their way to Microsoft’s subscription service in the near future.
According to Exputer writer extas1s, who has a good track record of accurate leaks regarding upcoming Game Pass titles, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will join the Xbox Game Pass library sometime in August – this claim has since been corroborated by Windows Central, adding more fuel to the fire. Additionally, extas1s also mentioned that both Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will also hit Game Pass “very soon.”
Despite Microsoft’s $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard being completed in October 2023, it has taken a while for many of the publisher’s titles to roll out on Xbox Game Pass. By comparison, after Microsoft acquired Bethesda, most of that publisher’s games were on Game Pass within a month. Diablo 4 was the first Activision-published game to join the subscription service earlier this year, though more are expected to arrive in the coming months.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be one of the newer titles coming day one to Game Pass when it launches in October. If the latest report is accurate, then we’ll also have a few more Activision games join the library over the next few months. Unfortunately, Xbox hasn’t provided a reason why the rollout of Activision titles on Game Pass has been so slow compared to its other acquired studios.
In case you missed it, Xbox will officially delist Forza Horizon 4 from digital stores and Game Pass this December. Thereafter, the game will only be playable if you’ve already purchased it digitally or own a physical copy. All online services for the game will cease to function.
