Cuphead The Delicious Last Course DLC PS4

Cuphead Netflix TV Show is in The Works

It seems like everything gets a TV show these days, especially on Netflix. However, one game that would really work so well already as an animated TV show is Cuphead, as the game has that awesome animated 1930’s cartoon style already. That’s why it isn’t that surprising that the Cuphead Netflix TV show has been announced.

Cuphead is, without a doubt, one of the most difficult games I have ever played. A hard-as-nails platformer that remains in your mind thanks to its 1930’s cartoon graphics, brutal boss fights and unforgiving gameplay. It remains to be seen if the Cuphead Netflix TV show will have the same impact, but it is coming.

Cuphead developer, Studio MDHR, alongside King Features, announced the Cuphead Netflix TV show in a Press Release. Thankfully, it will stay true to the game and it won’t be some live-action adaptation. Instead, the show will have that same retro hand-animated style and yes, Mugman will be there. The Press Release explains some of the talent behind the upcoming show.

For King Features, CJ Kettler will serve as the Executive Producer and creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer will serve as Executive Producers for Studio MDHR. The series will be produced by Netflix Animation and is executive produced by Emmy and Annie Award-winning producer, Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts) and Cosmo Segurson (Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling) serves as co-executive producer.
