Cyberpunk 2077 “Biggest Update Yet” Marketing Leaked

CD Projekt Red seems to be ramping up to rollout a large marketing campaign for Cyberpunk 2077. Users have spotted an Instagram advert that revolves around the game’s updates and added content. The advert, which has since been pulled down, puts a heavy emphasis on the game’s “Biggest Update Yet”. In addition, the advert teases “More to Come” which could relate to even more quality updates and DLC in the future.

Keep in mind that CD Projekt Red has not issued any official announcement or statement regarding this new slew of content updates. Even its last update, that fixed over a thousands bugs, was not marketed in anyway. It is also important to note that CD Projekt Red is still working on Cyberpunk 2077 in a couple departments. We firstly have the game’s overall performance and stability, which the developers claims is now on a satisfying level. Then there’s the new content in the form of DLC which has yet to be announced. Lastly, we have the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S update that is set to launch in the “second half of 2021”.

This new update might be the anticipated content update that will add new gameplay mechanics to Cyberpunk 2077. If you have played the game you would know that it is rather mediocre when it comes to its many systems in place. Crafting is pointless, NPCs are terrible, cops are buggy and the overall experience is rather shallow. We can only hope that this new “Biggest Update Yet” does more than fix a few bugs and actually provides a better experience when it comes to mechanics.

So when can we expect this update? We have no idea yet. However, you should stay tuned for Witcher Con tomorrow where CD Projekt Red will most likely showcase some new announcements. This especially related to Witcher 3 and its PS5 and Xbox Series X updates. Perhaps this Cyberpunk 2077 update will debut too? You can watch the advert down below or click here to see it.
