Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing on 10 December (we hope) and the game is going to be a big one. We have known for a while now that the upcoming open-world RPG may take up a lot of storage space and according to the PS4 box art, users need at least 70GB of space to install the game. Keep in mind that this is the “minimum” requirement. Users will most likely need even more storage space for the game as updates and free DLC arrives.

For those of you who are picking up hard copies, Cyberpunk 2077 will ship on two discs in order to fit all the data needed to install it. We are unsure yet if the PS5 and Xbox Series X version will be on one or two discs. It will most likely be on one disc thanks to the extra storage space on a dual-layer UHD BluRay.
A game shipping on two discs is nothing new. We have had multiple over this generation including Red Dead Redemption II, The Last of Us Part II, and Final Fantasy VII Remake.
According to the leaked box art, the disc version of the game also comes with some extra goodies inside. This includes;
- 2X Blu-Ray disc
- World compendium
- Stickers
- Postcards
- Game map
- Digital content access
We have already seen the game’s postcards which leaked a few months ago.
So is Cyberpunk 2077 actually releasing on 10 December 2020? It seems so. After multiple delays, one that arrived after the game went gold, CD Projekt RED is ready to release their baby into the world. Let’s just hope there are no more surprise delays in store for us. We know the PS5 and Xbox Series X version of Cyberpunk 2077 is planned to release in early 2021. However, after the amount of the delays with the current version, don’t get your hopes up.
