Cyberpunk 2077 E3 Plans Revealed by CD Projekt

In March this year, CD Projekt confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be at E3 2019 and I am sure it is the most-anticipated title for many gamers out there. Last year, the developer only showed a behind-closed-doors demo to selected press and was played by a member of the development team. Then, a gameplay video of that demo was shown to the public more than a month later. Now, CD Project has revealed their Cyberpunk 2077 E3 plans.

First up, there will be a closed-door presentation yet again this year and it will last about an hour, with the developer playing the game instead of the press. Thankfully, there will also be a demo for the public to watch this time around so those at home can also see the game in action.

Community lead for CD Projekt, Marcin Momot, took to Twitter, explaining that:

Press won’t be able to play the game themselves and those on the E3 floor will see some gameplay, but they won’t be able to play the game either. Instead, one of the developers will be playing the game. Lastly, Mr Momot went on to say that that although he is not prepared to go into details, the closed-door showing and the public one will be different.

I can’t help but hope that a Cyberpunk 2077 release date will also be revealed at E3, but at least it is good to know that we will be able to watch some gameplay from the public demo live. It is without a doubt a good reason to stay up late at night and watch E3.
