Cyberpunk 2077 Has Gone Gold Ahead of its 19 November Release

No more delays! Cyberpunk 2077 has officially gone gold meaning the game is done and ready to ship to manufacturing. I never thought I would type this, to be honest. For those who don’t know, when a game “goes gold” the code is ready and the master discs are sent to production to get printed on discs for shipping. In addition, the game files are ready to be uploaded onto the various online store marketplaces such as the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store and Steam.

This is happy news. Cyberpunk 2077 suffered multiple delays this year. The game was originally set to release on 16 April 2020. However, it was delayed to 17 September. CD Projekt RED then announced in June that the team needed more time to work on the project. Thus, the game was given a 19 November 2020 release date. Unless something drastic happens, gamers all around the world will be playing Cyberpunk 2077 on 19 November 2020. Hopefully on a new PS5 or Xbox Series X, imma right?

We have 45 days to wait to get our hands on the game. However, it goes without saying that gamers should hope there are no leaks leading up to the launch. Chances are quite high that someone may get their hands on it before the time and leak it. Should that be the case, we urge players to stay offline to avoid any nasty spoilers.
