CD Projekt Red has officially confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer will be coming to the game after its launch on 16 April 2020 and they are now hiring developers to work on the multiplayer component of the game. Witcher 3 fans will know how many awesome free DLC content the game received after launch and now, we know that the developer’s next game will be no different, with free DLC content planned after launch.
Taking to Twitter, CD Projekt Red confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer will launch at an unknown time after the game’s release in April next year. Until now, we only knew that multiplayer was in a research and development phase, which meant it could have been scrapped. CD Projekt Red explains on Twitter.
That’s not the only awesome news for those looking forward to the game. After the game’s release, they plan to release free DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077 as well as single-player content.
2/2 The plan for now is to deliver Cyberpunk 2077 in April, then follow up with DLCs (free!) and single player content, and — once we’re done — invite you for some multiplayer action.

From the Tweets, it looks like we will have to wait a while before we get to play the game’s multiplayer, as the developer will first finish up the game’s post-launch single-player content.
