CD Projekt RED hosted its third but not final Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire stream last night. The video showcase played host to some interesting new information including a deeper look into Night City’s various districts and their respective gangs. In addition, the developer revealed the Cyberpunk 2077 PC system requirements so you finally know what PC rig you need when the game launches on 19 November 2020.

PC gamers have been waiting patiently for this news. Up to now, we have seen various videos showcasing the PC version of the game and how it will make use of RTX and other fancy enhancements. Of course, these requirements are just a ballpark range of tech. The better your hardware, the better the game will run.

Minimum Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon RX 470
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 70 GB available space

Recommended Requirements

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon R9 Fury
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: SSD 70 GB available space

The recommended Cyberpunk 2077 PC system requirements won’t break the bank it seems. 12GB of RAM is quite low and the GTX 1060 means if you bought a GPU in the past two years, you should be fine. The biggest requirement here may be the SSD. Many gamers run their Windows OS on an SSD but store games and media on a standard HDD. You may want to free up space on that SSD to run the game. CD Projekt RED claims the SSD is important for delivering a smooth gameplay experience with faster loading times between fast-travel.

With the listed requirements, gamers can expect to play Cyberpunk 2077 att 1080p 30FPS with RTX off. Of course, if you are aiming for the best experience, you may need to bump up your RAM and should be running an RTX 2070 or later. Still, it is nice to know that gamers can play the game on some older hardware.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases on 19 November 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Take a look at the latest Night City Wire stream down below.
