One of the craziest leaks to come out this week now claims that Sony Bend Studio, the devs behind Days Gone, might be working on a Men in Black PS5 game. Now before you get excited, this could be completely fake. A product placement over at EB Games has posted the boxart for the Men in Black PS5 game listed for a 2022 release window.
The listing includes the PlayStation Studios and Bend Studio logo on a PS5 box. I am in two minds about this. Firstly, the listing has arrived just a day before the PlayStation Showcase. We have also been hearing about a “hell of a choice” game being developed at PlayStation Studios. We also know that a Days Gone sequel is not happening anytime soon after sales of the original game weren’t up to Sony’s standard.

Keep in mind that Sony also owns the Men in Black movie franchise that is based on the 1990 comic book. The film series is produced by Paramount Pictures, a Sony-owned film studio. So this kind of lines up quite nicely.
The listing has since been removed from the EB Games website but users on the web managed to grab a screenshot before it was taken down. However, whoever took this image might have just mocked it up themselves and created a fake online rumour for the fun of it. Then again, the listing does have its own URL that also mentions Men in Black in it. Some users say that the SKU for the listing points to an old Wii U game. This could have been recycled.
EB Games has been known for leaking products before they are announced. The retailer posted the Mass Effect Legendary Edition months before EA even announced the game. They could have done the same thing for Men in Black. You should take this with a pinch of salt for now. That is all I am saying.
The PlayStation Showcase is just a day away so all will be revealed then. If anything, this Men in Black PS5 game does sound like the “hell of a choice” title David Jaffe referred to in his video on Monday.
