PlayStation is about to kick off its Days of Play 2024, featuring activities, sales and deals, challenges and new games coming to PlayStation Plus for PS5, PS VR2 and the Classics catalogue. The Days of Play celebration will officially kick off tomorrow, 29 May and run until 12 June.
First and foremost, starting tomorrow, PlayStation players can access a range of new avatars to commemorate some of the popular titles coming to the PlayStation Network, featuring Lara Croft from Tomb Raider Legend, Slimey from Ghostbusters, Sly Cooper and more. Have a look below at all the content coming to Days of Play over the next few weeks.
Sony announced the latest batch of PlayStation Plus Essential games for June which includes SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever and Streets of Rage 4. EA Sports FC 24, which was part of May’s monthly lineup, will be available until 18 June as well. On 3 June, PlayStation Plus members will also be able to download a Roblox Pack that includes an avatar for Felix Freezebeard the Yeti.
Sony is also releasing bonus titles during the Days of Play celebration for the PlayStation Plus Game catalogue, Classics catalogue, PS VR2 bonus games and a game trial.
PS VR2 Games
These PS VR2 titles will be available from 6 June for Premium/Deluxe members:
- Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord
- Walkabout Mini Golf
- Synth Riders
- Before Your Eyes
- The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapters 1 & 2
PS2 Classics
From 11 June, PlayStation Plus members can also access the following PS2 games in the Classics catalogue:
- Tomb Raider Legend
- Star Wars: The Clone Wars
- Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus
Extra/Deluxe Game Catalogue Additions
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe members are also getting a number of titles added to the Game catalogue on the specified dates:
- Dredge | PS4, PS5 (available May 29)
- Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 | PS4 (available May 31)
- Cricket 24 | PS4, PS5 (available June 5)
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition | PS4, PS5 (available June 7)
On 29 May, members will also get a game trial for WWE 2K24 across PS4 and PS5.
