Dead Island 2 developer Dambuster Studios has revealed the PC system requirements and specifications for its anticipated sequel. As expected with most modern games, you’re gonna need some decently powerful hardware to enjoy the game on its recommended settings but can still get by with slightly older specs on minimum settings. If you want to take it up a notch to High and Ultra settings, make sure you have the necessary hardware to do so.
In order to reach that golden 4K 60FPS goal, you’ll need a Nvidia RTX 3090 or AMD Radeon RX 6950 to experience the visuals and performance at its best. On the lower end of the spectrum, only a Nvidia GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 480 is required to enjoy Dead Island 2 on its minimum settings (1080p at 30FPS). However, Dambuster Studios suggests you have a Nvidia RTX 2070 Super or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT for the recommended 1080p 60FPS settings.
