Creator of sci-fi horror Dead Space Glen Schofield has stated that their new horror title The Callisto Protocol will share more information soon as it is “coming together”.
Schofield was also the brainchild behind The Callisto Protocol which was announced back in 2020 at The Game Awards, and is currently being developed at Striking Distance where Schofield was put as CEO in 2019.

The Callisto Protocol will be a story-driven survival horror title set in 2320, in a prison colony on one of Jupiter’s moons Callisto. It is set to be “an original narrative experience in the PUBG universe”. However not much else is known at this point as no more details have come out since its announcement, and despite being scheduled for a 2022 release date it seems that we may have to wait a little longer than that.
Schofield tweeted on Monday that “we’ll have more to share soon”.
“This is my favorite time when making a game – the design starts coming together. Love seeing all the hard work the team is doing in the mocap studio to bring our characters to life. Thanks to everyone waiting as we finish and polish the game. We’ll have more to share soon!”

EA’s Dead Space remake is set to release in 2023 and will offer some new changes from the original games including a brand new flesh carving system which I think should be a mechanic introduced into so many more titles. The title was originally set to release in 2022 but EA and developer Motive chose to push the project back to early 2023, as Motive is rebuilding the game from the ground up rather than just updating some textures. Motive even describes it along the lines of the Resident Evil 2 remaster so it will take time.
The Dead Space Remake is currently in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
