Dead Space Remake Official Gameplay Trailer

Dead Space Demake Now Available to Play For Free

Fraser Brumley released a free 15-minute Dead Space Demake showcasing what the game would be like if it was released back in 1998. Like other demakes, this Dead Space one takes on the classic PS1 aesthetic with low polygon models and a downgraded visuals style.

Brumley says on Twitter that the game takes about 10-15 minutes to play. Of course, this means it isn’t the entire original game and story but more a snippet of what it would have been like playing the game back in the day.

Dead Space has now been made, remade and demade by the look of things. The original was released back in 2008, the remake was released on 28 January of this year and now the demake is free for you to play.

The creator of the project has uploaded the demake onto itch.io. It requires a Windows PC to run. Brumley joked by saying that if you work for EA Games and see this demake, you didn’t.
