The upcoming Dead Space remake from developer EA Motive has received a launch trailer ahead of its release later this month and it packs a punch, promising horror and action in equally massive doses. Much has been expanded on from the original while also staying true to its roots and this trailer best exemplifies it.
The Dead Space remake launch trailer dips into the game’s story, some of which features new scenes and characters. However, the core of the original experience appears to remain intact, only with far more polished visuals and explosive action set pieces that were present in the first game but now given a bigger makeover. Isaac Clarke returns as the protagonist but now featuring more voice work than the original, with side characters given extra layers of depth too.

What did the Ishimura crew discover in the darkness? What happened to them? And what does this mean for the future of mankind itself?”
