The Death Stranding update is 1.04 and only weighs in at about 1.049 GB in size, much smaller than one would expect for a Day 1 update these days. Prior to the game’s launch today, it has received a few small updates and the notes don’t say all that much. Therefore, you can check out the Death Stranding Day 1 update notes as well as the notes for 1.03 below just so you know what’s been going on.

Death Stranding Update 1.04

  • Various performance improvements
  • Multiple problems fixed

Death Stranding Update 1.03

  • Multiple problems fixed
  • Game balance adjustments
  • Translation quality improvements
  • Updated save data version

The update notes don’t tell us a lot but hey, maybe there wasn’t all that much to fix either, hence the small size of the update. In our review, we didn’t run into any major issues as the PS4 exclusive from Kojima Productions and Sony looked and played fantastically well. Note that we reviewed the game on version 1.02 as version 1.03 released when the embargo date of 1 November dropped.
