Death Stranding is just under three weeks away from launch which means you will be hearing a lot more about this upcoming open-world game as Sony gears up for the launch on 8 November 2019. We know that reviews will be going live on 1 November as the review embargo date leaked last week. We also now the Death Stranding PS4 file size thanks to another leak at Best Buy.

According to a listing on the American retailer Best Buy, Death Stranding will have a 55GB file size. The retailer updated its listing to reveal a pretty cool Limited Edition packaging which included the file size in the description.
As it stands, Death Stranding will need 55GB of storage at launch but this could increase as a possible day one update might go live ahead of its 8 November release date.
The game is ramping up to be a pretty big open-world action-adventure with a “mature” rating including violence and nudity. The game has been in development for a couple of years headed by Hideo Kojima and his new studio Kojima Productions. Death Stranding is a PS4 exclusive for now but reports claim the game will make its way to PC in the distant future.
Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions are currently working on the launch trailer for the game which the director teased last week on Twitter. We will, of course, share all the upcoming news as we learn more and keep you posted ahead of the release date on 8 November 2019.
