Demon’s Souls is the only real next-gen experience arriving next month. It has been built from the ground up to take advantage of the PS5 hardware and is only playable on Sony’s new console. Unlike Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the RPG remake you cannot play on PS4. The exclusivity finally makes sense as a new 5-minute gameplay trailer showcases a visual masterpiece that will surely light up your gaming room in new ways. So much so that it now stands as a benchmark for next-gen hardware and if the trailer is anything to go by, the game is going to be one hell of a ride.

In the new PS5 Demon’s Souls gameplay trailer, the player fights both the Armour Spider and the Flamelurker. It is nice to see these bosses remade to look even more terrifying than before. While we don’t get to see any of the game’s UI and inventory system, we do get to see the combat and the various ways the player can take down the deadly enemies that await. Magic looks good as the particles swirl around the screen, sword and shields come in handy in every combat encounter and dodging is more important than ever.
We still have a few weeks to wait before we can get stuck into Demon’s Souls on PS5 but the latest gameplay trailer is enough to tide us over. Check it out down below.
